Guild Wars Are Starting
Battle of Nodes is live. The Validator Track is running, the network is under load, and Guild Wars is next.
Here's how it works, what to expect, and how to prepare.
How the Tracks Fit Together
Battle of Nodes runs in two phases. The Validator Track comes first — validators set up on the Battle Net, the network is put under real load, and stability is confirmed. Guild Wars follows: small teams competing in a series of timed challenges designed to push throughput, smart contract performance, and cross-shard coordination to their limits.
The sequencing is intentional. Guild Wars simulates real users generating real volume. It only makes sense to run it on a network that has already proven it can hold under pressure. The Validator Track creates that foundation.
Guild Wars Format
Guild Wars consists of five challenges. Each challenge is revealed on the day it runs, shortly before it begins — so there's no pre-gaming the specifics. What you can prepare: your wallet setup, your team coordination, and your strategy for maximizing both onchain performance and the content and documentation layer that contributes to scoring.
Some challenges have two parts. Scoring combines technical onchain performance with non-technical elements (documentation, strategy, content) so well-rounded teams have an edge over pure throughput optimizers.
Guilds can register throughout the competition at bon.multiversx.com/guild-wars. Once a guild competes in its first challenge, the roster locks. No changes after that. Members cannot participate in more than one guild. Guild Leaders are responsible for their team.
Prize Pool: $10,000 in EGLD
The total Guild Wars prize pool is $10,000 in EGLD, split across two pools.
Global Leaderboard — $7,500, paid to the top 10 guilds by cumulative score across all five challenges:

Per-Challenge Prizes — $2,500 total, $500 per challenge, with $250 awarded for 1st, $150 for 2nd, and $100 for 3rd place.
What to Do Now
Register and finalize your guild at bon.multiversx.com/guild-wars. Guild Leaders apply first; once approved, members join through the platform. Each member must register with a fresh wallet created specifically for Guild Wars.
While you wait for Guild Wars to begin, the Validator Track and Security Track are both open. Participation across tracks is encouraged.
Good luck.
