MultiversX Technical Roadmap - Explore, Track and Contribute

At MultiversX, innovation leads the way. The past quarters have brought tons of shipped goods to the ecosystem. Guardians, Staking V4, Multikey nodes, the Sovereign Chains SDK - just to name a few - have got us closer to how crypto should look like: on-chain web2-scale performance, an open and dynamic market for validators and a minimal error-prone environment for users.

What’s even more exciting is that besides these, there was also plenty of under the hood work that is getting close to production time, coming in bulk in the next period. There really couldn't be a better time than now for putting everything on the same page through an interactive development roadmap.

The new MultiversX Roadmap introduces a detailed, frequently updated overview of all the building blocks in the works, or already out. With it, community members have access to up-to-date information on MultiversX's short, medium and long term goals in terms of protocol development, related tools, and new releases.

Besides being able to visualize the progress publicly, the community can also help the MultiversX core team better prioritize tasks based on majority consensus. This can act as an informal governance extension to the on-chain module already in place. The system behind it is a simple but effective upvote mechanism.
