Activation Epoch
The activation epoch for the improvements is set to 1512, which should happen on Thursday, September 19th ~16:30 UTC.
Action Required
It is mandatory for all nodes to be updated to version v1.7.13.1-patch2 to ensure continued stability and performance of the network and to avoid the risk of having any validator nodes jailed.
Governance
Given the nature of the release → Critical Upgrade (as it contains some vulnerabilities that need updates) as proposed on Agora, there is no need for a governance call. This release is a follow up to the Vega upgrade, which passed the Governance call with 94.45% YES in April this year.
