Activation Epoch

‍The activation epoch for gas schedule v8 is set to 1433 which should happen on July 2nd 2024, ~16:20 UTC.

Action Required

It is mandatory for all nodes to be updated to version 1.7.13 to ensure continued stability and performance of the network and to avoid the risk to have their validator nodes jailed.

Governance

Given the nature of the release → Critical Upgrade (as it contains some vulnerabilities that needs updates) as proposed on Agora, there is no need for a governance call.

‍The Governance call for Vega Release passed with 94.45% YES.
