Registrations open for xDay Hackathon, with up to $1M in prizes and funding

One of the most highly anticipated initiatives aimed at expanding the scope and size of the MultiversX ecosystem and to provide a unique platform for developers to create apps and tools, the xDay Hackathon, will take place between September 21 and October 21, with registration now officially open.

Being one of the biggest hackathons and dev events in Europe, xDay Hackathon is aimed at fostering a month-long exploration of cutting edge technologies such as Web3, AI and the Metaverse, in a focused collaboration between developers, experts and entrepreneurs.

The hackathon, offering prizes and funding of up to $1M, is organized in collaboration with industry-leading multi-chain software engineers’ communities, DoraHacks and Encode.

Two journeys. Six tracks. A month of exploration.

Split into two concurring journeys, the xDay Hackathon invites developers of all skill levels and from all over the world to take part and come up with innovative use cases for 6 main tech areas.

In partnership with Encode, the first one, Future of Technology, offers developers the option to choose from 5 tracks: Artificial Intelligence, Decentralized Finance (DeFi), Infrastructure & Development Tooling, Payments, Mobile Apps.

For the second journey, Gaming and Metaverse, organized together with DoraHacks, participants will immerse themselves in the gaming and Metaverse worlds, exploring new frontiers, and shaping the future of interactive entertainment.

Grand Finale: 24 Hours of Innovation

This entire journey will culminate with an in-person finale at the annual MultiversX flagship event, xDay 2023 in Bucharest, Romania, organized between October 19-21.
