Opera Completes MultiversX Integration, Enabling Instant Access to EGLD, ESDTs, NFTs, dApps and More
Opera, one of the most renowned web browsers, used by hundreds of millions worldwide, has successfully completed the integration of MultiversX across both mobile and desktop platforms. This major achievement is meant to simplify the onboarding process and accelerate global adoption, while also providing our existing users with a new and exciting avenue for engaging with its expanding ecosystem.
The ease and ubiquity of browser usage is now aligned with the powerful capabilities of blockchain, enabling users to explore the vast MultiversX ecosystem while enjoying the same intuitive experience as when navigating the web.
The integration combines the complete functionalities of our network with the comprehensive Opera browsers. It serves as an entry point to the MultiversX blockchain and our Web3 products, enabling users to interact with EGLD, ESDT tokens, NFTs, and easily manage transfers, transactions, and transaction history. Additionally, users can directly engage with ecosystem dApps from their browser and create additional MultiversX addresses using the same recovery phrase, broadening their options for managing multiple wallets.
For our users, there is a dedicated Android configuration available, with Opera working on developing configurations for other platforms in the future.
