New Web3 Merchant: Autoworld Integrates Utrust And Prices Cars In EGLD
In just 1 week since the Utrust acquisition announcement, 400 businesses signed up to the waiting list for becoming a Web3 merchant, 5 of them are already live and the others in various stages of the registration process.
The European car dealer Autoworld was among the first to accept direct EGLD payments for its cars, and has now integrated Utrust, to make the process more streamlined and convenient for all the involved parties.
“A lot of our customers prefer EGLD payments because it is more convenient and inexpensive for them, so we made a lot of sales that way. By integrating Utrust, we can now accept EGLD in a manner that is more convenient also for us, as the invoicing and bookkeeping no longer need a special process.” said Roger Patrasc, Sales Manager.
Autoworld’s commitment to EGLD and Web3 payments does not stop here. The European car dealer also added EGLD pricing for cars it sells via its Carcloud platform, making it even more convenient for prospective customers to shop for a car with their staking rewards or DeFi yields.
Even if not priced directly in EGLD on the car dealer’s other platforms, cars listed on Autoworld, Das Weltauto and Audi Approved Plus, are also in scope of the Utrust integration. Furthermore, the European dealer will use Utrust as the primary services provider for accepting payments in other cryptocurrencies such as BTC, USDT or UTK.
